Design introduction: The site is located within the Jinshanling Great Wall park, which is a national tourist attraction listed on the World Cultural Heritages. Site is on a hillside, with a topographic height difference of 50 meters between the east and west. The challenge in the case is to design an innovative resort town within a variable site with maximum respect for the natural environment and cultural resources. Planning follows the general principle of "respecting nature and the existing environment". VAW regards the Great Wall as the focus visual resources to establish a landscape system with clear planning structure, integrates the site according to the grading conditions to form a multi-level graded functional adaptation and shape an unique hillside town.

设计介绍: 地块靠近北京郊外金山岭长城,比邻《世界遗产名录》旅游景区,用地在山坡上,南高北低,东西落差达五十米。本案设计挑战是,是在落差复杂的用地内,以最大限度地尊重自然环境与文化资源的态度,打造具有清新宜人的度假文旅小镇。规划上遵循“尊重自然,顺势而为”的总体原则,充分利用旁边长城遗址的宝贵资源,建立规划结构清晰、层次分明、尺度宜人的建筑聚落,并根据周边条件对场地梳理整合,形成层层叠叠的丰富功能与空间,塑造独特山地小镇。

Design strategy: Starting with the common facilities and s cultural center at the entrance of the community, the core image of the town can be formed at the early stage of development. The main road is planned to follow the topography of the site, which not only provides easy access to the community, but also connects the completed South Lot and the Center Hilltop Clubhouse. The landscape view corridors set up in the east-west direction incorporates the view of the Great Wall on the west side evenly into all the buildings within the site.

设计策略:以小区入口处的文化与社区服务为引针,在建设初期即可形成小镇核心和记忆亮点;依照地势规划的环形主干道为引线,不仅方便通达小区内部,也串联起了已建成的南地块和中心山顶会所。横向布置的景观轴线,将基地西侧壮丽长城景观均布借景,景观视线满足全部建筑。

Architectural Design: According to the site conditions, combined with the planning structure, VAW categorizes three types of resort building products:The west side is lower, close to the main road and to the natural landscape of the Great Wall, sets with medium-scale courtyard villas; The central portion of the site is flat and open and free from traffic, providing large-scale inner courtyard townhouses that can be shared by more than two families; The steepest terrain on the east side is made into setback stacking buildings, offering small-scale loft units, each user arriving on a flat entrance with its own courtyard or terrace. The customized arrangement to meet the different needs of the individual experience. Simplified architecture, emphasizing a natural hillside town with the slope retreat, and highlighting the focal point - the magnificent view of the Great Wall heritage.

建筑设计:根据用地条件,结合规划结构,归类分布三类度假产品:西侧地势低,紧靠车道也靠近长城遗迹公园,设置中型尺度的围院叠拼;中部地势平坦开阔,且不受车行干扰,提供满足两户家庭以上共享的大尺度内院式联排;东侧的地形高差最为陡峭,依托地形做退台式叠拼,提供每户平层抵达,自带庭院或露台的小尺度叠院产品;分类布置满足不同需求的个性体验。建筑造型以简化繁,强调随坡退台构成自然山地小镇,烘托真正的焦点-壮丽的长城景观。

Character: The project is a suburban hillside resort town, which is different from traditional hotels because of its wild luxury fun. In the resort town, one can visually engage with nature and the space blends with the outdoors and the mountainous, also enjoy a luxurious and comfortable vacation. The town is planned to bring the views of the mountains and heritage sites into the rooms, and provides different room types, for vacationers with a rich experience by the Great Wall.

个性:本案属远郊度假类产品,区别于传统酒店在于其野奢乐趣。“野”指的是可以直观接触自然,空间尽情与户外山林融合,“奢”,一方面指的是物质上的“奢”,在原生态的山野之地,看似人迹罕至,仍尽情享受豪华舒适的度假服务,同时也是精神上的“奢”,艺术、历史与自然完美结合。小镇规划上将山地与遗址的景色借景入户,并提供享有前庭后院,左右错落,可分可合的不同房型,为度假用户提供丰富的塞外长城体验。
